2: Tiny Prairie Landscape (David Berkman) I first heard this song when we made Matt Wilson's first record, "As Wave Follows Wave". David later did a solo piano version on his "Handmade" album.

3: There Will Be a Happy Meeting in Glory (traditional) another tribute to Joseph Spence

4: Francisco the Man (Balitsaris, Lily Cay Music, BMI) I wrote this back in the mid '80's. Named for the character in Gabriel Garcia Marquez' One Hundred Years of Solitude

5: Palhaco (Egberto Gismonti) Jeff Berman turned me on to this beautiful song by Egberto Gismonti many years ago. We used to play it as a duo, and with Jeff's quartet.

6: Fiddlesticks (Balitsaris, Lily Cay Music/BMI)

7: Beginning (Frank Kimbrough) Frank Kimbrough recorded this on his album "Play". One day I was fooling around and realized I was playing it. It sits really nicely on guitar.

8: All the Time in the World (Balitsaris, Lily Cay Music/BMI) My pandemic lockdown song

9: Gabarone (Balitsaris, Lily Cay Music/BMI) There is a video I saw on youtube of this lady in Botswana playing guitar in a most unusual way. This is sort of a tribute to her.

10: Like the Sea (Balitsaris, Lily Cay Music/BMI) At one time I wrote a lot of songs whose titles came from the poem Fern Hill, by Dylan Thomas. This is one I wrote in college, but never felt right until I deleted the bridge.
